More than 400 people attended the virtual panel “Not for Profit Alone,” which was part of this year’s theme, “When Reality Hits”
On Saturday, February 13, AVSI-USA and the New York Encountered presented “Not by Profit Alone,” an online conversation on rethinking work, business, and economy in a post-COVID world. Moderated by Anujeet Sareen, portfolio manager, Brandywine Global, speakers Raghuram Rajan, the Katherine Dusak Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Ratna Sahay, deputy director, Monetary and Capital Markets Department, International Monetary Fund, and Stefano Zamagni, professor of Economics, University of Bologna and president of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences answered questions like “How should the economy change in the wake of COVID and what can bring about that change?” and “Do we need new economic models or a new vision?”
