our story
Since 1987, AVSI has worked with local partners to help vulnerable populations in Mexico. AVSI Mexico currently develops socio-educational and educational projects in six states (Oaxaca, Guerrero, Puebla, Mexico City, Campeche, and Jalisco). It also provides training for educators and civil society organizations and creates spaces where people can openly discuss topics like public policies and peacebuilding efforts.
In 2019, AVSI Mexico A.C. became certified as an official Mexican organization.
